“The Power of Discord” by Ed Tronick and Claudia M. Gold
We invite you to welcome our new Board Member Firoozeh Tuller, LCSW, and Book Club Co-Chair. It is our great pleasure to announce that we are re-activating AINC’s Book Club and Firoozeh will be our first host.
A little about Firoozeh:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in clinical areas such as Trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions and relational issues as it relates to attachment theory, working within the context of groups, individual, and family therapy. She has training in Psychodynamic treatment modalities, CBT, EMDR, AEDP, IFS, mindfulness-based treatment approaches and body-based treatment approaches, Buddhist psychology, meditation and eastern philosophies.
A little about Book Club:
This event will be in-person in North Central Austin. Location will be shared after registration.
Registration closes on Sunday, January 8th, Book Club begins Tuesday, January 11th
- Meetings will be every other week, for a total of six meetings, over the course of three months
- Meetings will take place in person, every other Tuesday from 6:00pm-7:30pm
- At this time, Meetings in person will cap at 8 people, on a first come first serve basis.
- Each member will take a turn leading the discussion for a different section of the book, to be assigned at the first meeting.
- Book Club pricing is $35 for the three months for Members and $70 for Non-Members
