The Benefits of Mindfulness Practices for Families, presented by Caroline Wibbelsman, MA, LPC, November 12, 2018
Research shows that mindfulness can serve to improve attention, enhance empathy, aid in regulating emotions, and reduce stress. Together we will explore fun exercises and activities that parents can use with children of nearly all ages to enhance qualities of mindfulness at home.
Caroline Wibbelsman, MA, LPC completed her graduate studies in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology at Naropa University and has worked for non-profit mental health agencies since 2005. She has a private practice located in central Austin working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical work incorporates strategies of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, attachment theory, and mindfulness practices.
